Post Racing mods help.
Dunno really where to post this as it is about Racing but it is also Technical but anyway:

Ive noticed in many 2cv racing pictures that the cars have an oil filler somehow attatched on the fuel filler? Why is this done?

Also, I have BX seats in my Dyane and i was debating putting 4 point harnesses in it, pushed myself tight into the seat and to see what it would be like but 1 issue...I couldnt change into or take it out of 4th gear. It may be just me in this situation or are the gear levers extended?

Is there a recomended tyre pressure for 145 Michelin tyres on race cars?

What are those heatsink things I see on the front brake calipers on 2cv race cars?

Thanks for your help

The fuel filler is just an oil filler cap fitted to make filling up quicker, and with no danger of dropping ot loosing the cap.

The Hollis guys use 25psi in the 145s, although IIRC that was with Firestones.

The race cars gear levers are extended into the car.

I have no idea where they get the heatsinks from.

I think heatsinks come from some scrapcomputers or electronic parts or such.

The fuel cap has to be locked in place and fuel tight if the car rolls
an old gutted oil filler tube fits on the original filler neck and is FREE!

Gear slide is extended

Dont even go there with tyre pressures ;)

Heat sink things are ...heat sinks! were fashionable for a while but not so much now
