must have made a new flywheel for my green 2cv when I need to use the flywheel to another project.

How much can I get of it???

has removed about. 1 kg. from the old and the new should preferably be something lighter,

I have no problems now with idle or bad start.

I know that the mass must be removed from the outer edge

You can make it as light as possible, however idling at (very) low rpm will be a disaster, when it misses a beat then your engine will stop at once.
Every rpm above 1250 will be fine I guess...

Bring down the advance when starting the engine. to overcome the lack of weight (swing) of the flywheel

1-2-never a problem at idle with light flywheel big trouble when you rev the nuts off them - they are prone to "handgrenading"

NES is Geoff Archer and yes he is still around and possibly lurking on this forum

Just reminded, once I have fitted a 425 flywheel to a 602, this is doable. You only need to drill the 5 nutholes that they fit, theres body enough tot do that...... Put a socket 24 (or something which fits tight) through both the holes of the flywheel the little pin will help you to line up and drill the holes to the 602 pattern......
Instant weight loss......

The engine must still lay arround somewhere in my garage...

Nice to see a Dutch guy and a Dannish guy try to write English.....

This must be the only place where native English speakers post messages that are barely legible but those who use English as a second or third language can manage to post messages which are spelt and punctuated perfectly. We are, as a nation, fucked.
