ok, dumb question............. the levers on my column have a life of their own, need holding in place when using indicator or it just spins around the column......how is it supposed to be secured ??? Cheers gerry |

The indicator switch usually slots onto a metal bracket, which in turn is held in place by the headlamp switch clamp bolt. |

Aye, but my problem is that the tube that the clamp attaches to is moving..... |

Too many spacers fitted to the bracket which clamps the steering tube onto the parcel shelf, or maybe they're fitted in the wrong location?
