Post subject:  Air Powered Grease Gun

Santa brought me one of those air powered grease guns for Christmas.

I finally managed to buy some connectors for the air hose today and a cartridge of goop to go in it.

Certainly has some power..........blown both welch plugs out of the king pins :lol:

Another job to add to the list.

On a slightly o/t note - did you restore that wegen van in your avatar? If so, where did you get the decals / lights etc?

No I just poached the image off the web, 'cos the girl looks a bit like an old girlfriend..... ;)

Mine is just many shades of yellow without the add-on's

i feel your pain dave i did the same with my carboot wanner grease gun :shock: there is a conversion you can do you insert a 6mm thread from top to bottom and put a nut on to hold the bu--er in

I seem to recall Ken saying don't use a powered grease gun .......

There certainly is,
put the air powered grease gun on Ebay... :lol:

In low temperatures, it's best to be careful with the amount of pressure applied when greasing the king pins,
even with a hand operated grease gun.
