So where do I get one in time for Christmas!?

Are they used in racing?

no reverse on a race car - 2cv racing carries a penalty if you power the car in reverse

I'd have one also if it has reverse. Seen sequential boxes on other race cars and rally cars and they have reverse. I think you have to find neutral and lift a lever under the main gearbox lever and then select reverse.

It's certainly possible to add reverse with that setup, but he'd need to machine his shift drum all over again with sharper angles on the cams.
And since it took three months to make that one by hand...

Wonder which motorcycle donated the shift interlock? ;)
