Post subject: | Removing front brake drum backplates |
Haynes seems to show that this is simply a matter of careful application of a block of wood and a hammer, having undone the six retaining bolts on the differential output shaft and drum backplate. Is that the case or is there more to it? Thought it was worth asking before I set about it ... ![]() |

However it is not free then, it is inclosed by the axleholder?@#? So nto reelly make it free you need to undo the nut from the bearing at the inside so you can take it in pieces...... Hope you understand..... Before you take it off you need new paper gasket (they always break) or the bleu stuff to make it oiltight before putting it together again...... |
