hi, what would be the main cause,as engine warms misfire stops.

Sure it's not just cold? They're all a bit spluttery until they warm up. At least, they should be if the mixture's set correctly. It should need a bit of choke for the first mile or so.

That or some kind of electrical problem. Old HT leads, maybe?
