my girlfriends 2cv runs on LPG. REally cheap to run, but you loose a lot of bootspace. Power seems a bit lower, as is topspeed. Was thinking of putting LPG in my Ami, but decided to to, because the tank would take up too much space and making the car less practical.. And that was the reason to buy it ![]() |

All LPG conversions are dual fuel just in case you can't find gas. The existing tank space is too small for a reasonable size LPG tank. Remember the LPG tank is a pressure vessel. |

I drive on LPG and have my tank where the spare wheel used to be. The tank has the shape of a wheel. If you drive on LPG, don't floor the pedal and drive top speed all the time, the cylinderheads will become too hot and your valves will protest. You will need what in Dutch is called geharde klepzetels. No idea what that's called in English ![]() |

Take a look at my topic 2cv with Smart turbo and intercooler on LPG (You can do without turbo) viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1100&hilit=turbo+intercooler or take a look at my youtube channel www2cv4x4nl Always use a lpg injection version, advantiges; no restriction in the air intake, so full power on lpg and petrol, + far better fueleconomy. My latest project BX sport on lpg injection ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
