Post subject:  burton exhaust clamps
Two of our local club members have broken their 602 manifolds using Burton exhaust clamps... any one else on the forum had the same experience :(

Were they using the right size ones? There are 2 sizes. 4 of the 49mm. size for each end of heat exchange pipe and 1 of the 47mm. size for crossbox to exhaust pipe.

I got them and are very happy with them. Moreover I didn't experiance a prob. Curious what happen though.

Same. I've used them on 3 of my cars now & had no problems whatsoever.

I have them too, lovely quality bits of kit. I wonder what went wrong on his manifold?
