Old nail did a really brilliant post about wiring in relays to the loom etc but I can't Fid it...

It was really helpful in that it had all the numbers of the relay as to what they go to,
I'm after it as i accident unplugged my relay and need to know which wire goes where,,,,

And icant seem to find the thread....

All stemmed after I had no headlights at all, where the headlight feed splits inside the loom via citroens, well crap division in the wire, it failed and I think that has caused me some proble. Either that or something else

I'll try and get the multimeter onto it in the next week if I'm lucky but it's unlikely (v busy :( )

A photo of the relay may help identify the pins.
It's a simple device.

30 = fused from battery
87 = Accessory
85 = Earth
86 = low draw switched supply

If I were you, run a fused feed straight to the permanent live On the light stalk. Then a feed from dip to a relay 86 and a feed from main to a relay 86. Then your respective bulb feeds go on the 87 and a fused feed from the battery via 17amp cable to the 85s.
