so.. went for a little run yesterday and when pulling away from junctions and at relatively low revs car was coughing a few times and almost sneezing... it also backfired a couple of times... what has caused this flu? The tappets haven't been set in a long long time so going to do that today anyway but could it be something else? i'm going to check the carb is bolted down correctly and the exhaust looks like it isn't blowing... funnily it idles perfectly and when driving faster it seems to be ok hope you can help, fritz |

i forgot to mention - it has a 123 fitted... changed plugs and leads already but will take out the plugs to see how it is running.. |

Clean the carb probably crap in jets |
