star?

"pozi" i think #1

( its my pet hate using the wrong bits for the screw at work listening to a joiner rattle away at a pozi screw with a philips driver - puts my teeth on edge)

Maybe a Torx head, if it's a very late car?
Citroen used them on the door locks for many years, then they appeared in other locations (such as the self-tappers for the plastic dash panel) near the end of production.
