 60mph+ left hand vibrations?
So I'm on a dual carriage way and doing 60 or 70 is on a long sweeping left hander and the steering wheel starts to vibrate like fuck, it's like driving down a cobbled street, reckon it needs a new rack rod end lever arm?

Ours did that. A new kingpin cured it.

Kingpin appears to be fine, as it should be only changed 3-4000 miles ago.

 Re: 60mph+ left hand vibrations?
will that be evident when I jack it up? I believe that was changed at the same time as king pins.

 Re: 60mph+ left hand vibrations?
if you jack it up and hold the wheel at something like 10 past seven and give it a good old wobble you should be able to see if something is amiss....

 Re: 60mph+ left hand vibrations?
Does sound a similar noise on my old white 2cv, in which I replaced king pins (still there), then control arms (a little better) then had the rack reconditioned. There is a little bush inside that wears out and can cause clonking, but I don't recall if that's shown n long curves. I'm thinking first check the lever arms.

 Re: 60mph+ left hand vibrations?
No play whatsoever at all NON in either of the wheels when jacked up, so does that point to track rod lever arm?
