The bolts for the exhaust holdery bits are too wide

Isn't that to hold the voltage regulator to the bulkhead? (the bit i've been searching for)

Yep, and there are two parts for the rear hanger.
Leave that part off and the exhaust can flail around all over the shop... :roll:
