Post Lights open warning buzzer.
Here is a citroen style "lights open" audible reminder.

Attachment:
SDC11489.JPG

The + on the 12V Buzzer goes to the light stalk and the - to the indicators, ignition side as illustrated.
*When ignition on and lights ON then there is 12V both sides of the buzzer and no sound.
*When ignition OFF but lights ON then the buzzer sounds cos there is sufficient current through other components.
*When the indicators operate with lights ON there is also an audible warning.
*The buzzer can be placed between the two stalks or on/below the dashboard.

cheers

Taskos let me get this clear. Is this thing warns you when the lights are open and the switcher is closed, or is it only for the indicators ?

Clever thing if it is for the lights....! Where can i get one ?

Correct

You can buy a small 12V DC buzzer from any electronic shop for around 1€ I believe.
Then the connections and placing is up to you.

i definitely need to fit something like this to mine... forever leaving my sidelights on when i go into work in the morning... luckily they are LED and she has a Lion heavy duty battery, the original battery did one day go for 8 hours with the original standard sidelights on outside work and she still started but i'd rather not push my luck all the time!

All very well until you break down and go for help (assuming you wouldn't leave the ignition on all that time!!)

Break down... Whats that...!!!

You don't need lights.... What about using hazard blinkers.

Parking lights ftw 8-) Having had Hetty over a year I still get a thrill from whacking on 'Hawaii five 0' and winking the parking lights ;)
