Is it possible to use some sort of new technology to make the 6v electrics a bit more modern and safe on todays roads? my main issue is with the indicators as they're pretty hard to see, espescially in the daylight and sunshine.

I'm wondering if there's any sort of electronics that'll work on 6v with LED bulbs that I can make flash, and simply wire into the cars electrics. Is that a simple circuit to wire up, can kits be bought for that kind of thing?

There must be 6v led's and flasher things surely?

Yeah of course, most LEDs run lower than 12 volts anyway, and flasher units to run such a thing should be easy to come by, have a look on maplins.

You could also run them off relays and an auxiliary 12V battery, I believe.

In that case won't you have to upgrade the wires too?

Depends on the existing wires & the current flowing through those wires, if LED bulbs are used then I would have said that due to the very low current, it'll be reet.

I'll see if we use any that operate at around 6V 'cause some of the LEDs are super blinding.
