Post 125 or 135R15
Hi!
I´d like to install new tyres on my 2cv, which I'd like to be a bit higher than the traditional 125R15.
I´ve tried 135R15 Firestone, Mabor and other brands but they´re even lower than the Michelin 125R15. (When I say lower/higher I mean the diameter of the tyre)
Does anyone know whether there are such tyres?
Thanks.

the 135 15 Michelin XZX has a diameter of 600mm, the 125 15 Michelin X is 588mm.

Personally I'd have a 125 Michelin over a Firestone or Mabor without a moment's hesitation.

What about the Michelin 135?Would it be a better tyre than the 125?
I will be re rubbering my car and was also wondering which size to use,125 or 135,Michelin of course.

Who can afford Michelins [if you can get them] these days?

I'd rather have NO tyres than not have Michelins. Except for my 2cv, which has Yokohamas. A 135 Michelin is the best tyre I've ever used.

I bought a pair from ECAS at the National at their special price. Still dear, but most experienced users recommend them. I must get around to fitting them. ;)

My favourite tyres are indeed the 125R15.
The problem is they got too expensive. About €105 each.
Because of this (stupid) price and also because I need higher wheels (tyres) I'm trying to find
an alternative.
I'm trying Toyo 135 (think they are Japanese, no?) this afternoon but I guess the same problem with diameter will appear...

Assume they last 50,000km, averaged across the front and rear.

So that's €410 for the set, or 0.8 of a Euro CENT per km. How much does fuel cost you per km?

Tyres are cheap.
