 Fuel starvation
When going around roundabouts the engine starts to die then recovers when I straighten up.To my mind this indicates fuel starvation,is this something 2cv's suffer from or is there a fault with the carb? The car is a 1987 D*lly. Cheers Andy

 Re: Fuel starvation
I had the same problem on my '88 2CV ....[it also misfired on long sweeping R/H bends] ..... resetting the float height did'nt cure it but a new fuel pump did. I can only assume that [in my case] it was the fuel pump which was'nt delivering enough fuel and what fuel there was in the carb was "sloshing around" ......[although I guess maybe a split fuel pipe could deliver the same symptons]
