Tbh, 'the forum' has to be careful that people don't threaten super injunctions, so it's hard to tell you what to avoid,
And just because you may save £5 here and 10 there doesn't mean your getting a better deal quality wise

But I'd recommend ecas, for your online shopping needs

Thanks guys for the tips. From the begging ecas was the most prefereble for me. Didnt buy anything yet but i think i send them one or two questions .

There was somehting interesting though here in greece. I am restoring my 2cv for two years now . The last six months i met some people here in greece that do 2cv restorings and old cars too, and they havent heard anything about ecas. All off these people knew one from germany the "F_______e.de".

Thannks again and i know that these kind of threads are not easy to make on public places...!

Greece is still in the Euro isnt it? :?

if so wouldnt that make life easier to buy from one of the many Euro based companies?

Ecas still tops though ;)

Ecas all the way. There's nowhere else in the uk that is as knowledgable with a commitment to quality parts instead of clueless money making pile it high flog it cheap merchants. Viking should be able to point you in the direction of trustworthy euro parts suppliers, maybe Tom can recommend some too?

In the Netherlands:
Burton
http://www.burton2cvparts.com/?language=en
they claim to have the biggest 2cv parts shop in the world.
they have their own fabricated parts and tools, of which some are pretty clever updates on stock parts

I mostly buy my stuff at Le Patron:
http://www.lepatron.nl/shop/index.php?shopcat=2cv (only in dutch)
This is also a kit car builder, but just like burton still loves the original.

This is a new online 2cv shop:
http://www.2cv-shop.nl/
dont know much about them, or the prices.

Best in this case would be burton. They not only have a english website, but I know they do send to other countries.
le Patron would do that also, but you need to mail to him what you need.

there are also some 2cv garages over here, but burton and Le Patron are the only one with a webshop as far as i know.

I buy from : http://www.franzose.de or from : http://www.mehariclub.com/.
There is also : http://www.treffpunkt-citron.de or : http://citroparts.com/
The last one is the representative of mehariclub in Belgium and Holland.
Oh and don't forget : http://www.ami-2cv.com.
They are all good 2CV shops.

I also would recommend 2cvkeza for bodyparts , etc. : http://2cvkeza.weebly.com/
