I'm a bit confused here. (maybe ignorant is a better word)
Why are these stepped?
All king pins that I have seen were tubular constant diameter.
Are these bushed so that the outer diameter of the bush is the same as the larger diameter of these pins? Is the installation procedure the same?

I think they've just got the bushes slipped over the pins for packing.

I thought that when i got my first set, but yes the outer bit slides off, they're the bushes.
