Post Will Land Rover lens' fit the 2cv?
Will the clear round side lights off a Land Rover fit a 2cv/mehari?

They're a lot cheaper than buying specific 2cv clear lens'.

Thanks

Sam, i'm pretty sure they do. I *think* it was spanners that fitted them to the back of his old AZU? Don't hold me to that though... ;)

I'm pretty certain that Colin (disk break) has them on the front of his D*lly, I think they look pretty good.

No, definitely not.

The complete light unit can be made to fit, but not just the lens - the Mini/Landy lenses are held in by the rubber backing.

Late Minis (80's/90's) had lenses that are fixed to the indicator by screws, like on 2cvs.. I had clear ones fitted to 2cv front indicators and they fitted nicely. They are available for about £5 -£6.

Only the old ones, later minis and land rover lenses are held in with screws, only the old ones were held in with the stainless ring in the rubber.

i paid £1 for a pair today so I'll have a look and post the results up. There aren't many minis, 2cvs or landrovers in my local scrapyard, probably a good thin given the statistics in this months mag.
