 Width between wheel arches
Does anyone know (or perhaps could measure) the width between wheel arches on a late 80's 2CV.
Thanks.

 Re: Width between wheel arches
Not quite sure what dimension you need bj? But I'm at home for the day, the '88 car is sitting in a warm dry garage and I have a tape measure at the ready

 Re: Width between wheel arches
Sean - thanks for doing that. The measurement I'm after is the width between the outside walls of the rear tyres. Not the track which is the width to the centre of the tyres. I'd also like to know how close the tyres come to the rear wing edges.
Thanks again.

 Re: Width between wheel arches
ow its dark and wet now !
wait a minute.
44 1/2" 1130mm inner track of the wheels with 135s outer track 1400mm
clearance to the inner wing depends on ride height.

 Re: Width between wheel arches
clearance to wings also dictated by the type of wing - some rep panels are so flat that you cant get the wheel out.

 Re: Width between wheel arches
I'm using an untouched 1989 2CV and the wings will work like those on a DS to remove rear tyres.
