I recieved a re produced wiper spindle,
which doesnt fit, ive spoken with the supplier who said it was ok to post and ask some advice

the small cylindrical bit that goes into the wiper linkage, is to fat to go into the linkage, i will take a photo and upload it,
but should i file it down slightly? or take a dremel grinding dist ever so slightly to it?

thanks ;)

I shouldn't see why not. just make sure that the groove for the split washers to fit into is still there?

lost!
which bits too big
the soft splined bit on the outside that the actual black or chromed wiper arm attaches to?

or the pin on the bell crank that the linkages from the motor act upon?
( you have to check as the terminology gets a bit muddled at times)
if its the latter attacking it with a dremmel will leave a rough surface that will eat through the nylon bush in the end of the linkage in no time
I'd be tempted to drill out the nylon to fit the pin, if there was enough nylon to take it-much easier than trying to sculpt a steel pin
