2cv6 brake fluid is LHM, DON'T put dot fluid in it will eat the seals.

It'll be LHM - special mineral fluid made for Citroens and Rolls Royces only. The consequence of using anything else is spectacularly destructive. Earlier 2cvs used DOT fluids but yours will be LHM.

By the way the term "2cv" is considered a bit of a faux pas - its generally referred to as a "2cv".

A "2cv" is just a work of semi fiction which you send to future employers :D ;)

Unless its a very old car you need LHM. Dot will shag all the seals in the brake system in my understanding.

What he said, and LHM unless your car is a drum braked variant.

Disc brakes at front: LHM (has a green reservoir)
Drum brakes at front: DOT 4 (clear reservoir (or glass))..
