Hi All I've discovered some new, but unboxed 2cv rear brake cylinders whilst rummaging in the garage. Is there any visual way of telling whether they are LHM or Dot-4 ones? Two have green dust covers so quite obvo lhm but the rest are all identical in black. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! Will |

Check the bore size? Should be 17.5mm for drum brake type, with pipe nut thread of 8mm x 1.25mm for the later ones, plus the seals are usually cup type and there's a small spring between the seals. ken Will2cv wrote: Hi All I've discovered some new, but unboxed 2cv rear brake cylinders whilst rummaging in the garage. As far as I know green dust covers = LHM black dust covers = Dot4/5 |
