Didn't use the "clinch nut" in the final fitting, as the sensor didn't sit correctly.

my second order for 12 spark is in the post , to be fitted to another Barbour4x4 ( Bat Mans, Black saloon)
Fred the shed will also get one on its re build
For me it is still the best electrical innovation for 2cv's for years

It's alive!!!

Mounted all the hardware months ago, just after I received the unit, just didn't connect the wires. Many things happened the last few months, which results in me being single again, so didn't have the time/energy to go out and connect it.

But back to the important stuff, I connected all the wires, took me about an hour and a half (sometimes I can be quite a miereneuker ;) ) then turned the ignitionkey, and it ran! Didn't go for a drive yet, had to go and get something to eat.

Will go for a spin in a bit and report what my findings are!

Thanks guys, wish you many, enjoyable?? miles/kilometers on 1-2-Spark..

Yesterday I went to Filip of VGS to mount 1-2-Spark on a 760cc big bore engine..

Had some issues...

First the car was fitted with a Weber carburetor, this means the lasered 1-2-Spark bracket from Azuiper didn't fit and we had to modyfy it...

Then it was a Visa flywheel so preparing the the pickup on Visa toothring 130 tooth. At last it seemed they swapped the toothring for a 2cv toothring 107 tooth so the pickup was welded in the wrong spot
so the engine was running bad do to to much advance... so again we had to reposition the pick-up..

So late that evening we could finally make a testdrive with the 760 cc engine.. Advancing 1-2-Spark there was a noticeable diffrence in torque between 1-2-spark and 123 so mission accompliched and we called it a day... 23.30 pm... Then I had still to drive home were I arrived at 1.00 am....

ps. the engines Filip makes a really Brutal...... this was 760cc and with another crankshaft it goes up to 850cc and 110NM torque.....

WOW, didn't change a thing to the settings, but already the car is running sooooooo much smoother, higher ilde, I could easily run 40 km/h in 4th gear, step on the pedal and it smoothly accelerated! Runs trough the revs more smoothly, overall already a mayor improvement!

The car never had any problems starting, it was already fitted with an electronic ignition (I believe it is a DG, but not sure) I always expected the slight hazitation that occurred when flooring the pedal was due to carb settings, but changing to 12-spark makes clear that all other ignition's are inferiour to this little masterpiece! And I can probably get more out of it if I optimise the curves!

Geo thanks for creating this!
