Thanks Geo. Understand fully. We're thinking about what we might be able to do about this so enthusiasts can benefit whilst protecting your interests 100% so it can be developed even further if you feel like it.
If it was easy we'd already have an answer, so it might take a bit of time (plus whatever time it takes for 65 cars and interested parties to get back from raid 2016 australia, and start making sense).

Post Re: 1-2-spark
So a probably costumer wants to have coil on plugs in his 2cv and if I could realize this with 1-2-Spark.. So I wanted to now myself by ordered two pencil coils which are directtly mounted on top of the plug.. So no coil-leads are neccecary annymore so less can go wrong..

This evening I put a little testbench together and made the rpm raising from about 150rpm all the way up to around 9000rpm...

Creating a lot of ozon in my livingroom :D :D :D :D

so pump up the volume and watch the video...

Like it.

Is it an "add-on" to the existing board or brand new PCB.

Perhaps use these

No you csn use them insted of the 2cv coil. However you need probably another coil driver because you have 2 coils now. When I,m back from Croatia I will test it in my car.. your Jaguar coil is a good fing by the way..
I have the dwell time reduced to 1000 over the whole range..

Post Re: 1-2-spark
So tonight I had some spare time so I installed the coil on plugs in my Ami.

I just pluged them onto my plugs, no brackets yet and hey it works.. It feels like the engine runs slightly better/nicer with the new coils.. So I'm going to make 2 brackets this week and then have a test drive..

I guess I will never use coil-leads anymore...

Anyone seen a 2cv running without coil leads... take a look at the video..

Tomorow I will put the car outside in the sun and make another video so that you have a better view..

Brilliant,

Which COP units?

Any modifications to the 1-2-Spark control unit?
