 Re: MOT day tomorrow
Good luck John. Got the grey one booked for Saturday 10am, at the 'old' place. If it goes OK, might have to bring it out to play on Sunday.

 Re: MOT day tomorrow
Well it got through.....kind of.... An advisory on one of the tyres I had realised it was an old Mitchelin that had seen better days and was badly split, so I did the "old standard" and bunged in some bathroom sealant. IT WORKED !!! I normally fill holes in tyres with underseal, but hey....Ive got the ticket to ride for another year!!!

 Re: MOT day tomorrow
If you apply it in a continuous bead and with a wiggle, you've effectively done a re-tread.

 Re: MOT day tomorrow
Now you are just being silly...
....Devils ....you remind me of a bloke I knew who used to pop rivet cars back together and run a "bumpy seam" of filler arounf the edge and stick bits of mig wire in it so it looked welded!
Nowt wrong with good old silicon sealent or underseal on a tyre though...done it for years ! Only on the side walls though !
