Post Town and country horns.
Like most French cars of the period I believe 2cv's were fitted with town and country horns. Anyone know what model years featured this?

On our 2cv-s in Slovenia it was until the end of our production in 1976.

Thank you. We didn't get them at all which is a shame.

Its a great concept, a little squeaker so that you don't scare the horses on country lanes. And a meaty fog horn for jousting in town rush hour

I don't know about the 2CV setup, but on my CX the horn button activated two different switches depending how far it was pressed. A toot on the clamshell type for town or full blast of the air-horns (plus clamshells) en-route.

Yep, s1 CXs (except, IIRC, pikey-spec) had that. s2 just had the airhorns.

The same. The light switch never changed structurally, they just removed one contact.

Sam - Hetty's got a two-contact switch, but only one horn (and wiring for one). Be easy to add a second...
