Post Cold starting/running
Using my E reg Bamboo as daily driver. Thats great.

Starts smack on the button with choke half out, then splutters and no position on the choke keeps it ticking over. I can rev it a bit on the throttle, but I have to stop a few yards from the house and brake and then it dies.

Its then a bit of a pig to start again and is getting embarrasing as its always in the morning at the same time outside the same house when someone is getting into some big posh 4x4 !

When it is going for the second time it warms up after a mile, puch choke in and absolutly fine for the rest of the journey. Ive sat letting it warm up before setting off and it takes AGES !!!!

Ive done most 2CV jobs, I think this one is hinting at the carb, and Ive never really gone there !....

anyone got any ideas......PLEASE....as its driving me CRACKERS !!!

(if there is something on here maybe someone could point me there also)

Thanks, again have a fear about taking carbs apart....is that easy to do?

also whats that spongey spring loaded thing with a bit of bent wire coming of it on the top....isnt that something to do with it?

Perhaps I could try sqirting something though it. Got to go to Halfords anyway.

Slow running jet is on the outside at the front. So you don't have to dismantle the carb to clean it. Unscrew with spanner (forget size-small maybe 7 or 8mm) and blow through with carb cleaner.
