Thread Hi Jack, springs to mind. Cloudy did a good job with the photos now its disappeared to page three while a massive un-winable debate rages about the right and wrongs of .05 of a mm. |

yea but its not like were debating is it or isn't it 6" Horses for courses follow the tutorial and set the valves to your preferred gap its got to be better than too much or too little Sean |

I don't think that's a dyane engine. My money is on it being a D*lly engine. I suspect plum and custard. I might be wrong though. Thanks for the guide, I'll sticky it. And upset everybody by announcing that I did mine by eye last time, and I don't even care if you tut! |

RT, very nice work. A couple of comments... You didn't make any mention of checking the torque on the cylinder head nuts before setting the valves, which might be useful if this is to be a standalone 'how to' item. Maybe a bit about checking (and 'adjusting') the amount of dishing on the rocker covers, especially if they've got bite marks from the rockers clouting them. (Tried taking a photograph this evening, showing to how check if a cover has been squashed out of shape, but the focus wasn't too good... http://www.flickr.com/photos/30132857@N06/5495307088/ ) ken.
