 pulsing lights
Started the acad up today as it's sorned at the moment and in the garage, I left it running for a while on the choke and turned the lights on, I noticed that the headlights and the rear lights were pulsing, not a lot but they were. On tickover they wern't doing it, any ideas?
Ta
battery was charging at 14.2v

Check the earth? bulbs?

Alternator? Voltage regulator?

My money would be on voltage regulator. Mine did the same.

Had the same problem on my Dyane. Changed the voltage regulator and the problem went away

Thanks all, it is the original vr. I checked the output today and the charge was varying from 12.9 to 14.8 so it looks like i'll be buying a new solid state one very soon.
