 Re-Calibrating GS Rev Counter After a test a few days ago, we found (well we always knew) that our rev counter is way out on the race car, we have fitted a rev counter out of a GS which came with the race car when I brought it, anyone know how to check/re-calibrate or even better who re-calibrates them?
Or shall I not bother and bite the bullet and buy a new one! anyone recommend one, the only trouble with this option is we have a nice dashboard in the car, so would need to find one the same size or slightly bigger - smaller would look sh**e!

Re: Re-Calibrating GS Rev Counter HD (Hardly Driveable , Hugely Dangerous-born to be mild) Motorbike ones are a straight fit dont know which will match the hole in the dash but google is your friend ...then US Ebay.

Re: Re-Calibrating GS Rev Counter Simon and Sean postage from the USA seems to have gone up a heck of a lot in the last few years, as some of the vendors are asking over $40 to post a tachometer to the UK... Re: Re-Calibrating GS Rev Counter The R1100 & 1150 tachos take their signal from the ECU, I don't know if they'd work correctly if wired directly to a coil. Older BMWs, R100 & R80, are different and might work.
