 Wiper Motor rubber bushes
Are the rubber bushes that are used with the bolts that hold the wiper motor to the spindle assembly available from anywhere? Mine are getting pretty badly perished and could do with replacing.
Cheers,
Aidan

I may be way off the mark but, I have a feeling (and I'm ready to be proven very wrong) that they're very similar to the gear lever bushes if not possibly the same?

 Re: Wiper Motor rubber bushes
I was thought the same when I was looking at them. Through panel grommets. There's an idea.

Hmm think you may be right had a moment when i was rummaging through the "box of assorted rubbery crap" looking for a gear change grommet... will see if old wiper motor turns up today - last push to get the "d0lly from hell" out so i can get on with mine and then The Orange one as well as dyane inlet pipe dyane spline wipers and some interior light lenses.....all of which ive promised to people on the good side of all this lockup rummaging found set of square lights, 4 spare shells and 1 spare reflector-happy days Sean

 Re: Wiper Motor rubber bushes
Ok gear rubbers too big. Grommets in halfords look a better bet something M5 M6 size

 Re: Wiper Motor rubber bushes
Cheers for that Sean - if anyone can confirm the bolt size I'll get myself some grommets sorted out.

 Re: Wiper Motor rubber bushes
I looked into this earlier and stripped them off an old wiper motor I had lying around-I can confirm that they are actually gear linkage bushes but they have wee metal sleeves in them.

 Re: Wiper Motor rubber bushes
Give me the size and I'll look at work, we carry a few grommets in stock.
