Plenty of info here

Looks like 20/50 is too thick for winter but OK for summer.
What are you using? Fish oil?

Interesting. So what's the difference between petrol and diesel oils? Why use diesel oil in an air-cooled classic engine?

It's only my uneducated and ignorant opinion, but even if I was getting diesel spec oil for free, I wouldn't be using it in a petrol engine which I valued - any petrol engine!

Yes, yes and no. Although I've only started using it because other people do, which isn;t a valid reason to do anything. Plus you can't get 20W50 for £2.49 from Wilko anymore, it's all expensive.

Racing people say use diesel oil, Adrian says use expensive hi tech stuff, I say use cheap stuff.
