right, so after using my horn a few days ago for the first time in a while, (white van man pulled out right infront of me, had to slam on the anchors,) i really want an air horn, you know, fucking loud powerful one, like coaches have, so people see this little innocent car, pull out, and they realise there mistake :D

any suggestions?
frauds sell one for £25 but not sure how loud it is as i was only passing it in a rush

louder the better

maybe even rig up a seperate button for the horn, so leave the standard one as to honk to say hello to people, and a loud one to tell them to fuck off

Most main car shops, I bought an after Market horn and rigged up a air horn to blow at the same time, both are quite loud, I used a small trumpet piece from an old Dixie set I had once, so it's two toned and an original sound.

I've got the horn off an AX wired in parallel with the original one. I accidentallu knocked the 'horn' bit off a while ago, and it's *noisy* now!

My dad's got a (very sweeping) saying, "if you had time to beep the horn, you should have put the brakes on instead." It's not *always* true, but a lot of the time horns just seem to get used to show that you're pissed off (mine does!) which, when you think about it, is fairly pointless!

i rarely use it, as most of the time i think more damage is done by blasting someones mind off (or ni a 2cv case bleeping at them!) i very rarely have the time to do that as im concentrating on not crashing into the twat whos pulled out infront of me, but we all have the odd horn moment

i quite fancy fitting a push bottom into the dash, and wiring the original into that, and then having the big loud one on the original switch, as its easy to access while driving i find

but it has to be,
1 loud
2 air driven
3 scary

I had one like this on my first 2CV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyjY-7ixStQ
It used to scare the bejaysis out of people, but was not perceived as aggressive, so tended to be OK to use liberally without encouraging fisticuffs.
My current ride has a couple of snail-style twin-air horns, like these (except mine are red, not blingy silver): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFgYrvQMFRA The tone is great and they are up to 11 on the loudness scale, which is just they way I want it.
