Hi there

I replaced mine using the 22mm channel in this link, it works well - doesn't slide about or lift / bend when opening the windows

but do note that i had to drill holes / slots through the rubber to meet up with the drain slots in the door top - fairly easy, craft knife and very sharp drill bit.

depending on what rivets you use - you may find that standard rivets (to hold the internal chrome strip on) tend to squash the channel in a few places, but not so much to stop the glass sliding past.

however, I believe John Sobey may have used an alternative to this - possibly from an English classic stockist? you would have to ask.....also heard that some Landrover channel can do the job....

That's everything I learnt when I did mine....

door tops are so vunerable on these Amis!!!!

good luck
Will

Thanks a lot guys.

By the way, discussed in some other thread, about using a rear door from a sedan on a Break. Just replaced my left rear door on my break with the spare-door from a sedan. Fitted like a glove. Had to dismount the window-frames of course, as they are not the same. (This is only possible on AMI 6's before October(I think) 1968, who has the bolted on aluminum window frames)
