Post fuse holders,
so i was just browsing ebay, for fuses, when along came one of these,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12-volt-Standard-Blade-Fuse-Holder-Box-Car-6-fuses-/280435848295?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item414b477467#ht_1137wt_1139

has anyone used these before?
i was maybe thinking of replacing the current fuse holder in the loom for one of those, or am i mad?

and as theres 6 there, theres enough to facter in acceserises, such as the heated read window im now getting, and also fuse the cd player etc, (although already fused)

what'ya think?

Post Re: fuse holders,
Hi James, used similar units on boats, mainly waterproof units, dont really see any problems on fitting one to your car.

Post Re: fuse holders,
I put a similar one in the Dyane, from halfrauds. Make sure you secure the wires well and there shouldn't be a problem. It leaves room for more gadgets!

Post Re: fuse holders,
I fitted one of these in the 2cv, as some of the connections on the original holder weren't looking too good.

Post Re: fuse holders,
It's not a mad idea at all James. The standard fuse boxes aren't the most reliable in the world but I wouldn't bother changing it without a good reason.

This is the one I fitted on my car,
