2 questions about vent flap

 2 questions about vent flap 1. so i bought a stainless vent flap, in your opinion should i leave it un finished, or paint it ?
2 how the hell do i crimp the rubber seal on?!

2 carefully
i used a small wooden block and a hammer, place the flap face down on a flat surface and gently tap the flange over using block and hammer
