 Chassis question I may of been offered a h style i belive tow frame of a frome chassis, will it fit my oroginal chassis ?

Re: Chassis question I have fitted an "H" style towbar to both an original chassis and a Frome chassis. Of course I'm quite sure that it would depend on the towbar you get but I should imagine it'll fit okay.

Re: Chassis question Original Citroen chassis are a "box type" of sorts but they still have a lip that runs the length of the chassis. That's what the tow bar fits to. I would have to say though, if your chassis isn't too healthy, I really wouldn't be too keen on fitting a towbar to it........

Re: Chassis question the original chassis had a couple of flanges with the holes in it presumably for this purpose
and if its to pull a ton of rib around then check nose weights of the trailer as your mower may have taken it but an old chassis and the interlinked suspension may not make the 2cv the best of tow cars

And nope only towing up to 750 kg max. Not aloud to tow more on my lisence!
