Bloody ell thats a bit "random",,, wikipedia a website for cumulative ignorance:roll: wtf has music wire got to do with car springs,, and lock pick info?? surley the biggest user of spring steel world wide ![]() Viking depends on what its for torsion bar springs as used in old vws and referred to in the other thread was composite and from many leaves and rolled into a bar coils are simply wound from 19mm "piano wire"(eg 2cv) then given the correct tension by heating and tempering |
