My '60 has the friction dampers on the front, and a later model rear suspension calling for shock absorbers.
I've welded the front mount on, and am a bit hesitant about spending a lot of money without being sure that the shock will fit.
At rest, the distance between mounts measures 500mm. the range of motion is from 465 to 505mm.
Is that the same as everyone else's 2CV?
Will a standard rear shock fit?
