paint it, mine has some schultz (?) on it under the paint. .

i would paint it as you would with any other panel. and then make sure you inject some sort of rust protection into the sill and underneath it.

Paint it yellow, as it was when it left the factory (it would also have had a "chrome" strip on it).

If you want it _perfect_ finish, get it primed & sprayed.
If you want it good (and staying good with minimal work), get it schutzed, then paint the top-coat on top.

Either way, cavity wax inside and underbody wax underneath.
