Will soon need to touch up parts of my '89 Blue Celeste (which I know is EMB AC575). I'm having problems identifying what the wheel/bumper colour is, tho'. Cats-Citroen http://www.cats-citroen.net/home.html suggests it's AC140 Gris Rose and says it was used up until the end in 1990. Another site (I forget which one), however, suggests that there were a few different Gris Rose over the years, and that AC140 ceased to be used well before the '90s. So, could it be a different Gris Rose shade?! The shade I'm looking for is a light 'grey/cream'. I guess it was a 'standard' bumper/wheel colour used with other body colours other than Celeste Blue at that time? Thanks. |

I've just been in touch with a paint aerosol company. They have Blue Celeste on their books (EMB/ AC575) but their files tell them this colour was never used along with 'Gris Rose' bumpers/wheels! (Their books could be wrong, of course - but I simply don't know.) They also have 4 different Gris Rose in their books, but none is AC140. (Again, their files might not be up to date.) So, I'm stumped. Help please?! Is there a definitive, reliable source of this info anywhere? Thanks. |
