MOT Time: What can I do to help get her through? SHE PASSED!
As above really, grease king pins, take boot box off (it obscures rear number plate) bit of a clean..... what else? Oh and is she likely to fail on: The front fog lights STILL not being wired up the floor at the forward edge of the passenger footwell being a little crunchy. Cheers for any tips UPDATE: Cheers for the tips guys, she passed so tis all good

Re: MOT Time: What can I do to help get her through?
Front fogs dont matter... they wont even check them as not required, dont even think you need a spare wheel?! (might be wrong but the Fuzz dont carry them)
I never do anything really, dont even grease the pins. Quick check everything works or is tight before test then drop it in before work and collect with certificate after.

Quote: The front fog lights STILL not being wired up Nope, never testable. (Nor spare, Timmy) Quote: the floor at the forward edge of the passenger footwell being a little crunchy. Could easily be a problem, depending on how "crunchy". Full tester's manual - http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/m3i00000101.htmIf it ain't in there as a "reason for rejection", they can't fail it on it.

I've heard there is a "section" in the MOT manual, that is specifically aimed at the 2cv (identification of chassis rot)
