I was just looking at my wiring with a view to fitting a reversing light soon. I'd like to route a green wire along the same route as the rest of the loom towards the rear so it looks like a 'factory' job.
Looking at the loom where it goes through the front bulkhead there is an extra wire that's not connected to anything:



Does anybody know where this goes to?

Maybe the light near the driver side door, for the LHD 2cv's... Think RHD 2cv's have the light on the right side..

it goes as far as where an interior light would be on the passenger side of a RHD car.
Perhaps Citroen used the same 'front to rear' loom for both LHD & RHD cars, so it's redundant on our cars...

That's brilliant. Perfect for what I was thinking of using it for then. I can carry it on towards the rear of the car and won't have to disturb anything around the bulkhead.
