I had an AKS400 that had had one mounted on the front of the raised part of the rear body above the cab, my AZU has one mounted on the cab roof , i gave the cb aerial itself back to the previous owner but have left the connecting stub as it doubles as a radio aerial , still dont like the potential flex of the roof steel there,although the radio aerial is only about 18 inches,and the cb one wasnt much more.
I've ripped the cb gear out, bar an awkward lead going up the door channel that i need to de-wire the connector to,so have one going cheap if anyone wants it
