I found this in a charity shop thisafternoon and grabbed it. A friend is after one for his 2CV also and I was wondering if anything similar is still easilly obtained without the complication of all the central locking associated complexity. Also if anyone has any idea how old this kit is I would be interested to find out, I would guess from when 6V systems were still common place from the label but I'm not entirely sure when they went out of fashion. Looks like its from the days when you had to have parking lights on if your car wss on the road overnight. |

Looks like '70s-ish and intended for the US market - 6v was common over there later than here. |

i only unlock my passenger front door when i'm having people in and out of the car and cba to stretch over and open it as im lazy although, i'd rather get out the car, walk round and unlock the door from the outside
