Time to spill my guts on the reproduction wheel bearings. All of them have a bad habit of separating when pulling the rear drum off. The inner race is almost every single time left behind and is so damn difficult to get back in to the bearing. Most times, the bearing needs to be removed from the drum in order to get it back together again. This bearing I fitted last summer together with new brakes but today the return spring fitted between the brake shoes snapped and blocked the drum. Pulled the drum off using my puller, (this tool will pull the drum off straight) but the inner race still decided not to follow. Bloody hell. This never happens with SKF or SNR bearing. Anyone else tried this? Attachment: P2070052.JPG |

Thanks Roy, yes same problem here, we still offer the crap bearings but inform customers what will happen next time they remove the drum. Was thinking if anyone would be interested in this die. Used it for about a year now, no worries. Got one new in stock any used in stock in the UK Attachment: P2070051.JPG |
