any opinions / variance?

I believe all 602 engines are the same gap, but this is an M28

I'd stick to 0.6mm, especially in very cold weather...

Don't forget that new plugs may be gapped wider than 0.6mm.

Thanks Ken, yes I set the gap with a feeler gauge - it was a bit spluttery after being out in the snow. but with the thaw it's getting a good drive every day now and has settled down

right - i'm off to craft myself a pipe - love the 1940's 'man's stuff' magazine articles....ha ha
